By On April 5, 2010 Under Apple, Google, Technology, video

A touchscreen analysis test was conducted by MOTO Labs. The reason behind is simple, find out the best touchscreen among the smartphone market. Less-precise touchscreen badly affects the user experience, no matter how good the application running on the phone is.

Besides, to minimize the human error and be fair, the entire experiment was carried out using robots. The drawing app they used are from 3rd party app.

  • Blackberry Storm: Canvas
  • iPhone: SimpleDraw
  • Droid Eris, Droid: DrawNoteK
  • Palm Pre: Super Paint
  • Google Nexus One: SimplyDraw

See the robot test video below.

iPhone has the super solid straight line in both stress test. I guess not just they have the good touchscreen. Apple must have been fine tune their iPhone OS Touchscreen driver to make it possible.
