Meebo

By paikia On February 21, 2006 Under Internet, Software, Technology

I’m excited to share this great web site with you all – meebo.com. Though it’s just very alpha stage only, it provides web-based form instant messenger which supports MSN messenger, Gtalk, ICQ, AOL and Yahoo Messenger. The reason I think it’s cool because it is AJAX. Thus, it’s much better than those “traditional” web messenger with plenty of “refresh”.

Plus, with the Meebo account, you just have to login one account to access all messenger together. It’s totally like a web-based Trillian. Convenient and simple for employee to chatonline without letting the boss catching you installing IM on the company’s desktop.

If any of you have anything you’d like to add, please contribute by commenting below. Thanks!

Now i'm accessing meebo using 216.129.112.98
    help me
  • 216.129.112.98? try 113 instead of 112...the range for the last IP is 0-99 for other users that can't access it on www.meebo.com
  • The only problem with meebo is that it takes too much of time opening this page and apart from that, it is really cool.
