What the Aussie is thinking about?! Apparently, this video is not suitable for gadget geeks with a weak heart. Sony Australia was having this crash test, just like the car crash test we have seen on internet. This time was a 3.2kg PS3 projected at the speed of 80km/h towards a 46 inch LCD TV.
The moment the PS3 smashed onto the Bravia LCD TV, I saw the water ripples and thought was special computer graphic effects for this commercial. But obviously it wasn’t, we just lost a 46” LCD TV. Not sure the PS3 manage to survive or not, because it seems like the PS3 has a fit casing.
It was actually a promotion campaign by Sony Australia which is giving away 25,000 PS3 with every Bravia LCD TV until this coming Christmas.

Only few days ago on 1st Oct, you can finally get PS3 Slim Singapore local set. I realized Sony had announced the price of PS3 Slim weeks ago on GCA. The retail price is SGD512 and SGD412 for the latest PSP GO. First impression: These gadgets don’t sound cheap! This is sucks and PS3 doesn’t look like USD299 at all.

Sony has started new series advertisement campaign for the Playstation 3 slim. This coming September, Sony not only drops the PS3 Slim price and also makes a PS3 that does anything!
Err.. But did I mention it just cannot install OtherOS such as Linux, cannot play PS2 games anymore? So back to the commercial, not anything the new PS3 can do.
