Swype isn’t a mobile phone but it is a new text input method for touch screen mobile phone. Although iPhone and Google Android have been going a great job on screen touch pad, the speed however still not that fast and easier than keyboard.
So Swype currently will launch on Samsung Omnia II and on Android next year.
Just few days I signed up with Singtel, Starhub today press release announced that they will bring in iPhone later this year. Wah, but did they said later this year?! Isn’t that the same as what M1 announced earlier? Since already going to be December, why can’t they make a confirmed date?
Singapore, 9 November 2009 – StarHub and Apple have reached an agreement to bring iPhone to customers in Singapore later this year. StarHub looks forward to offering iPhone and a range of tailored service plans to customers in Singapore.

Few days ago, someone emailed me this well designed comparison chart of Droid vs iPhone and the rest well known next generation smart phones. This chart is not unfamiliar, previously it was prepared by people at BillShrink.com and now they have updated the latest Motorola Droid.
From the chart, I found something interesting. The battery life of the Android phones, HTC Magic and Droid, have the same almost talk time, however HTC Magic is the double of Droid’s standby time.

Since the first launch of iPhone 3GS in July, all the while Singtel iPhone stocks is unstable. Finally, after the last out-of-stock announcement in September, Singtel made a new announcement about the next iPhone 3GS stocks yesterday.
The iPhone is back this coming Wednesday, 7th Oct! This time doesn’t require any reservation and only first come first serve basis, so we can expect some sort of queue outside of Singtel shop again.
I’m planning to get myself an iPhone until my Starhub handphone contract to end this November. However I unsure the stocks can last until that time or not. Especially the iPhone supply now all in China prepared for their first iPhone launch.

Am I the only one find out that it is easy to make a handphone? Once the first version is ready, the rest are more or less the same. HTC makes us feel so because just within a few months, after HTC announced Magic and Hero, now HTC announced their 4th Android phone – HTC Tattoo!
I recall that there was HTC Click that was announced last month during some mobile convention in Europe. So is HTC Click the new HTC Tattoo?
I just found out the reason HTC named this model Tattoo. It is because HTC let their users to customize their own favourite logo or picture at “ink” it at the back of the phone. So does this will be the same as Apple’s personalize engraving service on iPod? Also that in United States, consumers will able to purchase this directly from retail stores and without mobile phone contracts.
HTC Tattoo will be using the same HTC Android latest UI SENSE design. This time, HTC targets on handphone users with lesser budget. The camera sensor will be only support at 3.2MP, rather than direct compete with the rest 8MP handphone in the market.
Nokia as the world’s leading maker of mobile phones has made new moves into mobile banking. Recently, Nokia announces to step into Netbook market and also into financial services. Nokia unveils the their latest mobile financial services, Nokia Money, will be cooperate with Obopay. Obopay is a company Nokia took investment paying $70 million back in April.
With Nokia Money, users able to send money to others by just sending sms or voice call. Besides, users can directly make their balance, keep track of their daily expenses, pay products and pay utilities bill. The payment funds can come directly from bank accounts and credit cards.
If interested you can find here how the system works. The system is similar to Paypal. This service the earliest will rollout in the early of 2010.
