The first impression when I saw the photo of Apple’s iPad was, “the device design is fugly, look like a giant version of iPhone.” ,“Apple confirm they’ve bought the correct product to the event?” , “even the rumor sites have better designs.”
We can just skip the criticizing part on the exterior design and missing hardware features, because that’s Apple, they have to maintain the consistency of their product design.
That’s even the worst portion to be brought up. It is built on top of the iPhone OS. If I have a larger screen, I would actually expect the OS to be a slimmer version of Snow Leopard and not a giant version of iPhone OS.
Above is the early Macintosh Plus Mouse M0100. From the bottom design, it looks exactly like the first generation iPod click wheel.
A very unique feature of Apple mice that set apart from the rest is the single button design. But Apple can’t get their mouse right, even Microsoft has better mice.
Sometimes Apple is just over concern about the design than the actual functionality and ergonomic. Even until the latest Magic Mouse, quite a lot Mac users I know would rather go for other 2-buttons mouse.

Just few days I signed up with Singtel, Starhub today press release announced that they will bring in iPhone later this year. Wah, but did they said later this year?! Isn’t that the same as what M1 announced earlier? Since already going to be December, why can’t they make a confirmed date?
Singapore, 9 November 2009 – StarHub and Apple have reached an agreement to bring iPhone to customers in Singapore later this year. StarHub looks forward to offering iPhone and a range of tailored service plans to customers in Singapore.
More information on pricing, tariffs and availability dates will be released in due course.
Every times watching Apple Keynotes, we are further hypnotized by them with the positive hidden words. Don’t believe? See it yourself. Apple products are great, awesome, amazing, incredible, gorgeous….
Just wonder did Microsoft also use the same flaunting technique?

Days before I bought iPhone 3GS, I was still visualizing that I would get a black one. But turn out, my internet finding shows that white iPhone casing doesn’t catch that much finger print and scratches comparing to the classic black colour. Last minute, I changed my mind.
By signing a SingTel’s 2-years iOne phone plan and Broadband on Mobile (BBOM) data plan, I end up spending SGD598 for this 16GB phone. Too bad Starhub still hasn’t sealed the deal bringing in iPhone, or else, I will still support Starhub.
Especially based on my personal experience, Starhub customer service is much friendlier, more responsive than Singtel. No idea iPhone has caused how many existing Starhub and M1 users switching their mobile phone carrier.
