Sasser Worm Author May Face 2 Years

by paikia on Friday, Jul 8, 2005

In closing arguments, German court officials have recommended putting 19 year-old Sven Jaschan behind bars for two years for creating the “Sasser” computer worm that spread to computers worldwide in 2004. However, the sentence would be contingent on his actions over the next three years.

Teenagers uses the wrong way to be famous. They should use their creativity to write innovative softwares. Write virus and worms in my opinion is just too outdated already. 10 yrs ago hackers wrote virus, 10 yrs later virus still prevail, can’t hackers have more breakthru than the past? Hackers should have more important technology to be involved rather than just spending whole day write nonsense virus only. That doesn’t fully prove their abilities to the world. Virus writers please stop disgrace hackers community with your meaningless virus.

Just my 2 cents.
