RSS 2.0昨天看到Safari 3提供公开Beta。苹果除了将其本身的官方网站重新设计了一番以外，也让大家来体验一下苹果一直津津乐道的“世上最好”的i浏览器 - Safari。在大概的使用了一会儿，我只能说这个beta并没有带来什么惊喜，我反而对它的表现感到十分的失望。
也许苹果应该继续在呆在回自己的Mac平台上继续炫耀自己的浏览速度及表现吧。除非苹果下次在释放测试版的时候，使用更稳定点的版本。
若Firefox没出来以前，我想Safari还有掳获大家的支持。可现在测试后，我还是支持Firefox，主要是因为它的开源及插件功能。而主页上写到的12个喜爱Safari的理由显然地，都不是那么独一无二的理由。也许浏览器能附加的功能都饱和了，但我还是对下一代Firefox 3的功能有更多的期望。

I am now using safari to post the comment.
I tested the safari and noticed the following:
i. support for applet is poor. I can’t load any java applet.
ii. tried to find a way to setup the java runtime for applet, but couldn’t find the way
iii. try the download feature, it doesn’t seem to resume properly. Everytime you resume, it start from the beginning. (0 byte)
iv. it crash a few times within 10 mins
v. doesnt support session cookie well. Try using it for my weblogic admin console page, and it doesn’t allow me to login for this reason.
vi. safari claimed to be most inovative browser, i don’t see anything special. except the apple theme.

You tested longer than me. I just tried less than 10 min then give up.

I am using Firefox 2.0.0.4 now .
