Dinner @Lot1 Wan Chai Hong Kong Tea Room

By On November 20, 2009 Under food, Photography, Singapore

Went out with my girlfriend to Choa Chu Kang Lot1 library to return books and had our dinner there. I missed Hong Kong cuisine especially my last Hong Kong trip was 2 years ago.

In Singapore, Hong Kong food chained stores has invaded every shopping malls.  So, it isn’t difficult to find a Hong Kong restaurant around.

On the menu, there are a few categories, steam rice, baked rice and noodles, deserts.

This crispy chicken wings was recommended by my girlfriend. The skin was indeed crispy. I wish I could fried such chicken wings, must find way to steal the recipe from the chef.

My seafood-chicken baked rice came the last. Although took longer, but this is quite common for baked rice. Nothing to complain about this dish, the serving portion was large! I end up having a very heavy dinner. The price here is cheaper comparing to another Hong Kong food chained store – Xin Wang Hong Kong Cafe, but the taste wise, I prefer Xin Wang.

I must hurry go back and plan my next Hong Kong trip!
