With Twitter and Facebook, You Still Need Your Email

A strip –“the new black” from Little Gamers, I found it hilarious.

Email at the moment is still irreplaceable, even with Twitter, Facebook and Google Wave emerge. The alternative solution to sign up without email I can think of is using OpenID. But not many web company implement this, main reason is because still email is the important source they can get to their users.





Google GO new programming language

It is not surprise to see Google announced their own programming language, since they already have so many world-best programmers. The features and style of the syntax of this language, just like what Techcrunch mentioned, it is a combinations of Python and C++.

Quoted from their official web site http://golang.org/. GO is said to be simple, fast, safe, concurrent, fun and the most it is open source! It is distributed under a BSD-style license.

An official Go programming video, highlights that the compilation speed of GO. It is really quite terrible compilation waiting time. I was facing the similar in my early career. However, now I’m lucky, my development now is only concern about PHP and Python.

Starhub brings in iPhone “Later this Year”!

Just few days I signed up with Singtel, Starhub today press release announced that they will bring in iPhone later this year. Wah, but did they said later this year?! Isn’t that the same as what M1 announced earlier? Since already going to be December, why can’t they make a confirmed date?

Singapore, 9 November 2009 – StarHub and Apple have reached an agreement to bring iPhone to customers in Singapore later this year. StarHub looks forward to offering iPhone and a range of tailored service plans to customers in Singapore.
