The Top 6 iPhone 4/4S Battery Cases that You Might Want to Get

By Jiasen Low On February 3, 2012No Comments

Like what most of the iPhone users have faced, the battery woes didn’t get fixed on iOS5.0.1. It is common to have iPhone being charged at least once a day.

At some point, I’m considering to get a battery case, instead of trying to squeeze little more power juice out of my iPhone by disabling 90% of the push notifications. I also give up that thoughts of getting some unknown China brand battery case, after aware of the China built quality.

Thanks to Amazon, here the Top 6 battery casings that worth to get.

6. Incipio iPhone 4/4S offGRID Backup Battery Case – USD39 (after 44% off)

Among most the of the battery case, this is the thinnest and the lightest one. It weights only 2 ounces and with only 9.6mm thickness. It is almost 5 – 8mm thinner than most of the battery case in the market.

What others say about it:

The Incipio Offgrid caught my eye because of how thin it is… for $45 I think its a steal… retail at $70. This case is just wonderful, battery charges my phone from 10% to about 75% which is great for only $45. It has a sleek design which i like. I bought this for my verizon iPhone 4, the edges are very close by the ringer switch but it does not interfere at all. headphone jack is recessed a lot ,but doesn’t bother me, my bose headphone fit the jack, and i bought a thin 3.5 M-M audio cable from scoshe, which does not fit btw, so i ordered an adapter. This case is great over all, definitely recommend!!

Singapore Singtel, M1 and Starhub iPhone 4S Price Plan

By On October 26, 2011 10 Comments

16GB iPhone 4S without contract is selling for SGD948 in Singapore Apple online store. But for those looking for contracted iPhone, here are the latest price plan.

Singteliphone4S

Above is Singtel. Singtel iPhone basic plan is the expensive among the 3.

M1iPhone4S

Above is M1 price plan. Some good deal about M1 is their Multi-line Saver programme, which you are able to get 25%~35% discount your monthly bill if you find 3 to 5 buddies to sign up the plan together.

But the disadvantage is that I heard the monthly roaming services for SGD10/month, don’t they have pay-as-you-roam service like Singtel and Starhub? Correct me, if I’m wrong.

Google Music iOS Native App – gMusic

By On October 23, 2011 No Comments

Google Music is still in beta and limited to USA users only. However, international users are still able to get an invite through certain “channels”, such as using a US VPS to bypass the IP check. So far, we can’t enjoy iTunes online music store in Singapore, not even mention we will get the latest iTunes Match.

However, it is surprise that Apple recently has approved gMusic – a native iOS app that stream music on your Google Music at $1.99. This app is not developed by Google and it is not free either. After personally tested it, the functions such as Playlist, search artists, song titles are working quite integrated well.

Recommend to get this app if you have a Google Music account and hate using mobile Google Music on your Safari.
