By Jiasen Low On February 3, 2012No CommentsLike what most of the iPhone users have faced, the battery woes didn’t get fixed on iOS5.0.1. It is common to have iPhone being charged at least once a day.
At some point, I’m considering to get a battery case, instead of trying to squeeze little more power juice out of my iPhone by disabling 90% of the push notifications. I also give up that thoughts of getting some unknown China brand battery case, after aware of the China built quality.
Thanks to Amazon, here the Top 6 battery casings that worth to get.
6. Incipio iPhone 4/4S offGRID Backup Battery Case – USD39 (after 44% off)

Among most the of the battery case, this is the thinnest and the lightest one. It weights only 2 ounces and with only 9.6mm thickness. It is almost 5 – 8mm thinner than most of the battery case in the market.
What others say about it:
The Incipio Offgrid caught my eye because of how thin it is… for $45 I think its a steal… retail at $70. This case is just wonderful, battery charges my phone from 10% to about 75% which is great for only $45. It has a sleek design which i like. I bought this for my verizon iPhone 4, the edges are very close by the ringer switch but it does not interfere at all. headphone jack is recessed a lot ,but doesn’t bother me, my bose headphone fit the jack, and i bought a thin 3.5 M-M audio cable from scoshe, which does not fit btw, so i ordered an adapter. This case is great over all, definitely recommend!!

Street Directory used to be one of the best known site that provide online Singapore street directory, however it fell in 2008. After that, new and better alternative web sites rise and grab the street directory market share.
Gothere.sg

The neat and clean interface immediately brought to my attention. It is simple to use and the site responsiveness is excellent. The old Street Directory web site could take some time for an address query and filled with a lot intrusive advertisement.
There is also iPhone app selling for USD2.99.

Below an amazing chart done by Michael DeGusta. It shows the fragmentation and the OS upgrade of Android phone .

One important reason I don’t get Android phone is because that most of the smartphones in the market sold are done by hardware companies. Samsung, HTC, Motorola are good at hardware. But once their phones were sold to end-users, their priority is set to rush for the next product releases, less time is spent into maintaining and upgrade the firmware anymore.

The without-contract iPhone 4 finally has arrived at Malaysia Apple online store! Right, it is just iPhone 4, without “S”. Duh.

At the moment, no confirm timeline was given when iPhone 4S will land in Malaysia. However, quite a lot speculated that iPhone 4S will be brought in by Maxis and DIGI by end of December or early next year.
The price tag of the iPhone 3GS is RM 1199 and iPhone 4 is selling for RM 1799

It made its public debut on Thursday, when SingTel Singapore chief executive Allen Lew gave it an instruction in a decidedly local accent as he launched the iPhone 4S in the city-state.
“We have a voice application capability in DeF!ND that is unique because it understands the local language… which the voice recognition engine within an international device like Apple doesn’t quite have,” Lew said after the launch.
At first when I heard this piece of news about Singtel’s releases a Siri replacement called Def!nd. First thought, this must be a joke. But think again, this sounds reasonable because I bet like most Singaporean and Malaysian, iOS Siri can’t understand our Asian accent, specifically our “Singlish”. Even the long exist iOS Voice Control function, I barely use it, because it fails badly to pick up my Chinese accent.
At the moment, Def!nd is free on Android and will arrive to Apple’s app store soon. But I think it would be great if the app called “Simi Daiji” (“What the heck” in Hokkien).
