Above is the early Macintosh Plus Mouse M0100. From the bottom design, it looks exactly like the first generation iPod click wheel.

A very unique feature of Apple mice that set apart from the rest is the single button design. But Apple can’t get their mouse right, even Microsoft has better mice.

Sometimes Apple is just over concern about the design than the actual functionality and ergonomic. Even until the latest Magic Mouse, quite a lot Mac users I know would rather go for other 2-buttons mouse.

McDonald’s Creative Bus Stop Advertisements

posted 18 January ,2010 @07:18

Above video is a very creative bus stop advertisement in Canada. McDonalds built a steam machine into the bus stop and time to time the steam will burst out from the machine.

But the steam seems to release too much at a time. It scared the people around the bus stop away more than effectively convey the message of free coffee promotion.

Things You Should Know Before Buying Google Nexus One

Google_Phone

Last week, Google announced the Nexus One phone. It is exciting news for consumers in Singapore, as we are lucky together with UK, HK and USA in the early adopter country list. I guess most of people have seen all the great things of what Nexus One can do, including turn-by-turn navigation, astonishing LCD screen, sexy and yet elegant design, super smooth UI and more.

Despite all good things you have heard, there are still a few points you need to aware of before placing order for your new Google Nexus One.

1. Only 190MB out of the 4GB space is allocated for Android Apps

The Nexus One allots only 190MB of its overall 4.5GB of memory for storing mobile apps, a tiny fraction of the app storage available on the Apple device.

source: GigaOM

This really depends how huge the file size of each apps. If each of the Android apps is around 10MB, then you could only get 19 apps installed on your phone. That would be quite miserable situation for such an advance smartphone. However, on Google side, they said they will address this issue and in near future allow the app storage on external flash card.

An Interesting commercial by Canon. Made use of the Canon camera as “weapon” in a “shooting” game.

WTF China Made Bluetooth Dongle

posted 02 January ,2010 @18:59

I heard that China government is going to spend millions dollars to promote the “MADE IN CHINA” branding campaign globally. Sound like a terrific idea, but I’m quite skeptical about it. Doing so won’t give much impact to overseas consumer. We already have all kinds of China made items in our daily life and we all know how China made goods quality really are.

Just this afternoon, I just trying to dismantle a very lousy reception bluetooth dongle I bought last month. It is useless to me, so no harm to further damage it. The photo below shows after dismantling. Not sure you get it or not.
