BBQ Night @Austin Heights

We organized a small BBQ at Austin Heights last night. We started the planning on last Monday, when we were still in Monday blue. On Thursday, we then last minutes announced on Facebook as an event.

Thanks EngChin’s Mom and nanny for helping us to prepare the fried Bee Hun and marinate the chicken wings. We had the Bee Hun while waiting for the charcoal to ready.

Ah Mok is very precious his gear, especially the few expensive lenses he bought recently.

Johnson and his wife were late. However, when he arrived, he already started to drink. The vodka Absolut 100 is the official drinks for this BBQ event. It was the leftover alcohol during the Cherating trip.

This time was Absolut 100 mixed with 100 Plus. I guess this gave a 200 power.

 
Ah Mok is Olympus. Too bad he is not Canon, else I can get him lend me all his lenses to try out.

Very coincident, Bi Jun’s mother is staying in Austin Heights. She came along with his hubby.

Guys gathered aside chit chatting.

Took a snap shot while they were still distracting by Ah Mok, don’t know looking at what in the dark sky.

The overall response was consider good for a very last minute event such as this. Especially our classmates some are in Australia, KL, Taiwan and other places of the world.

Photo taking at night was not easy, especially the street light at our BBQ pit was malfunction. Most of the photos were taken at Shutter mode, at the speed of 1/15 with the help of crappy built-in flash.
