If you are a Firefox user, you should get excited to know that Mozilla Weave Sync is getting one step closer to the 1.0 final public releases. It is now available in Release Candidates 2. Mozilla Weave Sync is a Firefox add-on that enables you to synchronize your data across the internet between multiple Firefox. It works even on the Firefox mobile version – Fennec.

Although seem this service is slightly behind of what Google Chrome has provided. But ahead of it, the Mozilla Weave Sync includes the synchronization of history, customizations, passwords and preferences. So, you can enjoy your seamless browsing experience no matter where you are, in office, at home or even on public transport.

One thing cool about the Mozilla Weave Sync is that you can host your own data server. So you won’t afraid you privacy is in the hand of others.

You can get the RC2 download at https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/10868
