iPhone OS 3.1.2 is out

By paikia On October 9, 2009 Under Apple, Handphone

iphoneos3.2.1

iPhone and iPod Touch users might want to manually click the Check for Update on their iTunes to get the latest iPhone OS 3.1.2. Apple all the while doesn’t reveal much what their updates really fix, just some significant bugs.

This update contains bug fixes and improvements, including the following:

• Resolves sporadic issue that may cause iPod touch to
   not wake from sleep
• Fixes bug that could cause occasional crash during
   video streaming

People has been complaining 3.1 version is having some power consumption issue and seem to be buggy than version 3.0. So, maybe want to wait others to test out the result then we go for the upgrade. Thinking whether is there any iPhone benchmark app out there? This can provide us more actual statistic when we think the phone is getting buggy than previous update.

If any of you have anything you’d like to add, please contribute by commenting below. Thanks!
