Street Directory used to be one of the best known site that provide online Singapore street directory, however it fell in 2008. After that, new and better alternative web sites rise and grab the street directory market share.

The neat and clean interface immediately brought to my attention. It is simple to use and the site responsiveness is excellent. The old Street Directory web site could take some time for an address query and filled with a lot intrusive advertisement.
There is also iPhone app selling for USD2.99.
Previous post I mentioned that I sent articles to my kindle for reading. Recently I discovered an internet service – Readability. It helps to make reading online more comfort by removing the clutter around it.

Full Readability features doesn’t come free. It supports both web and mobile app. Some of the features which I think similar to Instapaper. However, the browser add on which is free, consider sufficient to me.
For Google Chrome, there is another unofficial extension “Readability Redux“. From my experience, Readability Redux is much speedy than Readability official extension. The reason is because it doesn’t require to additional connect to Readability server to do the content conversion.
You got to try this if you love reading online articles.
I love reading, but reading good long articles on browser can be very distracting. Web sites normally flood with a lot of “cool” features such as recommended blog posts, newsletter signup, ad banners and etc. All this will really stop me from focusing reading a long article.
Due to these reasons, when I come across a long article, I prefer to have it read on my Kindle. It not only removes all the ads that constrain me to stay focus on the content. Besides, the limitation functions of Kindle, I couldn’t easily jump out of the reading and do other things such as gaming or chatting. I have more time doing thinking on the article compare to environment such as desktop or iPad. End up, I’m more productive.
Here are some of the ways you can get the content to your Kindle.

Use Google Chrome extension – “Send to Kindle“. All I need to do is set up my Kindle mailing account for content receiving, then add the [email protected] into the approval list in order to receive email from them.
