PS3采用频率3.2GHz的新 CPU Cell，规格是1颗 PPE 及7颗 SPE，高速缓存分别是 PPE 512KB L2 cahce 及 SPE 256KB Local Store，显示卡采用的是nVidia的新显示卡代号 RSX 频率是550Mhz，内存为256MB XDR 3.2GHz的主存储器，频宽为25.6GB/s，及256MB GDDR3 700MHz的显示内存频宽为22.4GB/s，使用 Blue-ray 光驱，5.1声道的声卡，前面4个 USB 后面2个USB共6个 USB 的插槽，记忆卡可使用 SONY 推出的 MemoryStickDuo 记忆卡或是 SD 记忆卡，10/100/1000Mbps 宽带以太网络接口，并支持 IEEE802.11a/b/g Wi-Fi 无线网络，及蓝芽通讯，，可外接2.5吋的硬盘，功能相当的完善。

效能方面，由 SONY，TOSHIBA，IBM 三家合作的9核心 CELL 微处理器，其中的8颗 SPE 处理器提供高达每秒2180亿次的浮点数运算效能（218 GFOPS），与 nVidia 合作的显示芯片则可提供每秒1万8千亿次的浮点数运算效能（1.8 TFOPS）。

控制器方面采用的是蓝牙无线手柄，可接至7只之多，手柄的配置跟前一代完全一样，造型上则更具有未来感。

PS3 的游戏将全支持高分辨率宽屏幕电视（HDTV）规格，最高达 1080P 的规格，输出上采用了最新的 HDMI 接口两组，并织援传统的 AV/S/色差等端子输出，具备高分辨率视听环境的玩家将可以充分展现 PS3大幅提升的影音表现。

gamecube Revolution

“革命”将由IBM与ATi提供性能强大的微处理器与绘图晶片，并可相容于NGC游戏，配备有可同时支援NGC小型8公分游戏光碟与 Revolution标准12公分游戏光碟的自动载入光碟机，不过并目前尚未确认 Revolution是否具备DVD影片播放的功能。 Revolution支援Wi-Fi相容无线网路功能，可与NDS连线。除以上特征之外，Revolution还具备了快速的启动、安静且低耗电的运作等特性。

在推出时程方面，任天堂日前在新闻稿中明确表示Revolution要等 2006年才会推出，明显落后于微软日前所正式发表，预定今年底美日欧同步推出的新主机Xbox 360，也无法赶在年度需求最旺盛的圣诞商期内发行。

Microsoft has an answer for mod chips with Xbox 360. The case is going to be sealed up tight using current fireproof safe technology. There is no mechanisim to open it. Microsoft is willing to replace entire units if internal parts go bad as long as the box is never hacked. –Gamewire Magazine

Last nite, I just watched the starwars 2: attack of the clones. hm.. finally recall some of my old lost memory for starwars. In my opinion, starwars 1 and 2 just entertaining, the storyline really not that good.
