‘Mutant’ children are best
THE Chernobyl nuclear disaster has spawned a generation of ‘mutant’ super-brainy children. Kids growing up in areas damaged by radiation from the plant have a higher IQ and faster reaction times, say Russian doctors. They are also growing faster and have stronger immune systems. Radiation from the Ukrainian Chernobyl plant swept the globe and affected more than seven million people.
Professor Vladimir Mikhalev from Bryansk State University, has tracked the health of youngsters growing up in areas hit by the fallout since the 1986 accident. He compared their mental agility and health to those in unaffected areas and found they came out top in tests. The kids had been exposed to radiation in the atmosphere and their food supply.
I din’t know about this. I thought radiation is bad for human :grayeek:.
Spore
Next year, Electronic Arts will release Wright’s next attempted masterpiece, Spore, a game some are calling “Sim Everything.” Spore will give players the chance to control life — from the ground up.
Starting with single-cell organisms, players work on designing life with ever more complexity. As the game progresses, players must figure out how to take creatures from individual animals to small tribes and then to cities, whole planets, solar systems and galaxies.
At first, I thought spore is the short form for singapore. lol. People love the sim series should love this. But sound too me like another tamagochi game.

DVD capacity to 850 GB
Iomega believes DVD media to remain competitive with upcoming optical storage technologies such as Blu-ray and HD-DVD: Nanotechnology could multiply the current maximum capacity to 8.5 GByte by a factor of 40 to 100: up to 850GBytes per disc, the company said.
This technology, named AO-DVD (Articulated Optical – Digital Versatile Disc), allows more data to be stored on a DVD and could allow future optical discs to potentially hold 40-100 times more information with data transfer rates 5-30 times faster than today’s DVDs. Iomega believes that such media could be manufactured at costs similar to those of DVDs.

Liverpool won Champion League 2005
Liverpool finally won the title after 20+ years. Liverpool just purely lucky to win this cup. Overall AC Milan still perform better than Liverpool. But in soccer, must believe in luck, hoho, that’s why I have faith in Liverpool and won myself a treat . *yawn* time to sleep.
