Buggy WoW

By Jiasen Low On January 31, 2005 Comments Off

Not doing everything in WoW is legal. Especially, a large group of protestors gathering in front the Auction House at IronForge. But anyway, it is definitely awesome! They unfortunately got the ban for nuding in such a “holy” place. :mwahaha:

Some problems appearing on the server recently which start to annoy others.
1. the boat crashed from darkshore to menethil habour. ( is it becoz there is tsunami nearby ? )
2. server population narrow down to 70%. ( long queue begins, but not tat long actually…. )
3. items in Auction House disappear. ( I would kill you, if you don return me my items )

Don’t knows why this problem occurred only by this time. Shouldn’t the worst always happen at the begining?
These screenshots are worth a *ban*!

By Jiasen Low On January 29, 2005 Comments Off

I’ve stopped 20 days of playing wow, but then few days ago continue…
I now lv41 and with a niteelf tiger mount! Thx for my guild mates who sent me gold to buy it. So, my travelling speed is 60% higher than normal.

I quite looking forward for the epic mount with 100% extra speed and 900 gold.

Optical Mouse

By Jiasen Low On January 28, 2005 Comments Off

My optical mouse starts to react weird weird lately, the left click button sometimes won’t get response for the clicking. After using it for 4 yrs, it’s almost time to throw it away. So, now looking for a new optical mouse, maybe wireless and must be cheap. The logitech mx1000 sound good, but cost sg150+, so expensive! :graydead:

If anyone willing to sponsor me a mouse pad, I prefer these two. Hohoho ( stay to imagine how it feel when resting my hand on it. )

Earthquake Bed

By Jiasen Low On January 26, 2005 Comments Off

Japan’s Paag Co. will soon be selling the BEX-1, a shelter bed that is supposed to protect during an earthquake. The stylish bit of steel-reinforced furniture has a headboard that swings up to deflect falling objects and bottom sideboards that open so you crawl under it. The only thing we can’t tell is whether this thing automatically swings into action during an earthquake or if you have to operate it yourself.

This things just sound stupid.. ppl can just DIY a better one…. lol

eXeem 0.2

By Jiasen Low On January 22, 2005 Comments Off

Exeem is like the combination of kazaa and bit torrent. It got the function of searching bt you would like to download, and save up the need of tracker server, so everyone is actually an independent tracker.

eXeem is owned by supranova.org, which now they close their server and develope with this new software.

Interim

By Jiasen Low On January 22, 2005 Comments Off

Recently just finished my FYP interim presentation. My performance just average, still need more improvement, i think. As I thought my answering part was good, but my prof said “still got long way to go” :grayupsetw:

Now, I just prepare to rest and wait for the chinese new year. I lazy to figure out how the final presentation will be.
