Recently, the school has announcement daily, for the sars, hostel and etc. For the sars, they’re going to divide the campus into 3 or 4 zones :|. Wtf again! These frustrating things keep bothering me. Damn, can’t they spare me some peace?!

Tomorrow need to go out awhile to take a look at a new apartment. If everything is fine, me and my friends are going to rent it for next sem. huh! now who cares about eca :twisted:!

I’d installed the windows server 2003 last nite. This OS(operating system) will be officially released on 24 april, but i now got it on my pc :twisted:.

This OS runs more smoother in executing some of the server tasks, althought some told me that it isn’t so powerful compare to linux. Ya, windows doesn’t handle the memory problem well, always run out of memory fast. Up to now, i haven’t faced any “memory crisis”, i not sure whether they’ve solved this problem or not.

All the GUI(graphical user interface) almost similar to the old xp, the essential part of this new os is the improvement on the core. I just wonder why MS can’t hire a creative designer to redesign the user interface? Apple does have good and creative designers to design their product. The startup is much more faster than xp. The classical theme in windows looks awful, it took me awhile to “recover” back to my previous mac apple theme and do some reconfiguration of the system.

The only weird experience happened last nite was that i couldn’t get msn or icq connect, but after some times it autoconnect itself :|. xiaonan told me 5% of the program can’t execute on this new system. huh? 5%? no idea how big is the 5%, but till now, only norton antivirus 2003 can’t install becoz it is not suitable on server system. But anyway, there is server edition of norton antivirus outside.

Other than that, everything quite fine, i’m happy wif it.
